Project Number 2 in my quest to decorate the baby’s nursery: Tissue Paper Pom Poms.
I was inspired by the original tutorial I found on the Martha Stewart Wedding site. I followed these steps and learned a few things along the way.
1.) Tissue paper tears VERY easily. Move slow.
2.) Don’t cut the tissue paper into a square when trying to make a smaller pom pom, otherwise you’ll end up with a lop-sided ball. Cut a smaller rectangle.
3.) To create a more textured pom pom, cut slightly pointy ends in the folded paper.
4.) Don’t worry about getting every fold totally even, you won’t be able to tell in the end.
