How I get red carpet ready in 30 minutes (VLOG)

People used to pay me to get this sort of advice, so you’re welcome 🙂 The Grammy’s are this weekend and you know there’ll be dozens of gorgeous ladies walking that Red Carpet leaving you with hair and makeup lust. Lucky for you, tonight’s a big night. We’re going to Applebee’s! Woo hoo! (insert sarcasm here). That means I have a reason to actually get all done up with full blown glam hair and makeup. Withhold your judgements until you’re a (mostly) stay at home mother as well…

In case you’re going out somewhere a little more glamorous, I’m going to show you how you can recreate a #RedCarpetGlam look with P&G products in 30 minutes. Seriously, just 30 minutes! P&G beauty products, when used together, can help achieve a winning, camera-ready red carpet look, in-line with red carpet trends. No need to spend an arm and a leg to look glamorous 😉

Get #RedCarpetGlam waves and a smokey cat eye in under 30 minutes with this video tutorial.

Products used in the video:

  • Crest 3D White Whitestrips Professional Effects (for bright, white teeth in a flash)
  • Secret Clinical Strength Light & Fresh (for 100% confidence on and off the red carpet with 100% odor protection)
  • Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream (for instantly bright and smooth skin)
  • Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Heat & Protect Shine Spray (for heat protection and glossy shine)

Olay Tone Perfecting Cream Moisturizer, Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant, Crest 3D White Whitestrips

If I could have you take anything away from this video tutorial it would be:

  • Don’t you even THINK about putting an iron to your hair without thermal spray (it not only protects, it helps hold the style)
  • Leave those curls alone, at least until they’re completely cool to the touch
  • Before you apply makeup, make sure you moisturize
  • Don’t forget to apply foundation/powder to your neckline
  • Eyebrows need lovin’ too. Don’t be shy. Powder brow definer is the perfect newbie option.
  • If you’re attempting the cat-eye style, make sure you use liquid liner and apply the wing in line with the lower lashes

Don’t forget about pre-glamorization prep: smooth, silky legs and clean, moisturized skin is a must. And make sure you bring along a few things for touch ups.
