Which Yogurt is the best Greek Yogurt? My face doesn’t lie [VLOG]
After going on a strict, gluten-free diet for health reasons 2 weeks ago, I have done my best to develop a love for yogurt. I have heard that greek yogurt has many more health benefits than plain yogurt. So, I decided to take the greek yogurt taste-off to see what my taste buds preferred.
Step One: purchase yogurt…
Step two: have husband (or someone you trust) put 2 different yogurts in secretly labeled bowls…
Step three: taste test each bowl…
Bean’s toddler taste buds didn’t discriminate.
She liked both yogurts equally. In her words, “it’s good now.”
If you take both our opinions into consideration (although mine means more, right?) Yoplait wins. Luckily, Yoplait is super healthy:
• No artificial sweeteners or flavors

When I went out to purchase the blueberry flavor, I found just one cup left (must be a favorite). Luckily, there are many other delicious flavors available…

Do you like greek yogurt? Am I the only one that thinks most of them taste like sour cream? 😉
I am not a fan of greek yogurt. I'd heard nothing but great things about Chobani, so I gave it a try. Well, your face explained it well. I'll have to try out Yoplait. Thanks for the taste-off.
I LOVE Yoplait. It's the only greek yogurt I'll eat, actually. I like their 100 greek yogurts as well.
Yoplait will actually make me want to start eating greek yogurt, it's that good!
Haha totally. No wonder they say you can substitute sour cream with greek yogurt in recipes. Bleck.

I LOVE Greek Yogurt, but I haven't tried Yoplait. Lucky me, I'm going grocery shopping today anyway. 🙂
I really don't like regular yogurts. So sorry, I actually have tried both and I like Chobani and the greek gods greek yogurt way better than yoplait.
I tried Oikos (meh), Fage (okay but you need to blend it well) but I liked the Yoplait ones best. The Strawberry/Raspberry one is pretty good.
That makes total sense, because Yoplait tastes pretty much like regular yogurt to me.

That flavor sounds delicious! Blueberry isn't my favorite but it's still pretty good.
I don't believe that what you eat is REAL greek yogurt…You have to come here and taste the REAL greek yogurt from very small companies that make traditional greek yogurt.

Yoplait puts gelatin in its yogurts, so I won't even try it (I'm vegetarian). Why anyone would want to eat cow hooves is beyond me…Authentic Greek yogurt doesn't require thickeners like gelatin. Chobani, has fewer ingredients in their yogurt, and gelatin isn't one of them, so I'll stick with them, thanks!

I like Greek Yogurt but am not a fan or regular yogurt. I think the thicker texture on the Greek yogurt makes it more appealing. We took a taste test too and Yoplait came out on top!
If they'd just replace the gelatin with carrageenan, I could eat all their yogurts! Very frustrating! Oh, well.:)
I agree, the texture is a lot easier for me to swallow. I'm definitely going to try some more flavors the next time I grocery shop!
