Hey, I actually want to make this.

I am a Pinterest snob. I won’t “pin” you unless I have strong intentions of creating you, or baking you, or using your tips in my everyday life. These babies right here? I can’t wait to tackle them. Even more, I can’t wait to share with you when I do tackle them, because I’m going to. That’s not a threat, it’s a promise 😉 Especially since it’s National Craft Month. Watch out, JoAnn’s, I’m coming for you.

DIY Sequin Word Sweater

I saw this today over at A Beautiful Mess (one of my favorite blogs EVAH) and thought, “Why didn’t I think of that?” So simple and so awesome. What word should I choose…?

Graphic quote door mat.

Is this door mat not me, or what? Plus, we’re still using the mat that sat outside my husband’s college apartment. This apartment was named after a castle, mind you. I think it’s time for an update.

Recipe for homemade liquid hand soap

This is a recipe for DIY hand soap. I have recently gone on a mini DIY cleaner kick. I used to think it was just for hippies with dirty houses. I’ve since realized that these cleaners (if you get a really good recipe) work just as good if not better than the store-bought versions, are healthier for you, AND CHEAPER! That sounds like a win-win-win to me. Can’t wait to try this one.

Cheap and easy DIY frames for $5

The photos aren’t the greatest, but you “get the picture” hehe. I have a bunch of album covers above my kitchen cabinets that need framing. Album frames are EXPENSIVE. These DIY frames are $5. Score.

Fun and pop-artsy DIY photography using vintage toys for you kid's bedroom.

This one might actually be my favorite find. It’s another one of those, “Why didn’t I think of that?” moments. I know Bean’s room theme won’t hold up forever so I’m keeping this in the back of my mind for future reference. Or, maybe it could be applied to different rooms in the house? Hmmm…

  1. Being a Pinterest snob isn't a bad thing. We could all learn something from you. Maybe I should take a page from your book and clean out my boards. There are so many things that I've clicked in the moment, but have not real intention of revisiting. Great finds, and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

  2. Yeah… totally… 😉 Nope. Thanks for reminding me about this though! I want to make Bean a shirt that says “I Woke Up Like This” because she literally ALWAYS has bedhead, no matter what. This technique might work well for that!
