My forgotten child

I always forget that Mother’s Day is now basically my second birthday. I’m usually so focused on what I’m going to do for my mom that I forget that I’m also a mom myself. We (I) celebrated this Mother’s Day with some relaxation and outdoor play. I even brought my forgotten child outside to enjoy the warm weather.

Netherland Dwarf Rabbit

That would be Normie, my almost 8 year old Netherland Dwarf bunny.

Normie has been with us through thick and thin. He was the first pet that my husband and I got together when we had only been dating for about a year. Almost 8 years now and Normie just keeps on kickin’. Bean loves him.

Sidewalk chalk paint

The weather was finally nice (dry) enough that we got to try out RoseArt’s Washable Sidewalk Chalk Paint.

It was very easy to put together, just mix with water and you’re ready to go.

Bean couldn’t wait to dip her paint brush in and get painting.

“My hands are dirty, Mama.” Luckily, the paint is washable. Bean got it EVERYWHERE.

Now our front walkway is full of our Mother’s Day graffiti. I may have had more fun with the sidewalk paint than Bean did. We (I) can’t wait to pull it out again and create some more sidewalk art.

The day was finished with some good, old fashioned bubble play. Who would have known that an .88 cent bubble wand could provide so much joy and entertainment?

What did you do to celebrate your Mother’s Day?

I was given RoseArt’s Washable Sidewalk Chalk Paint in exchange for my honest review. All opinions and views expressed are entirely my own.

  1. I had a Netherland drawf rabbit who lived over 10 years! She was litter box trained, loved Cheerios and loved to walk outside in her harness. Loved see your floppy eared pal 🙂
