It's simple for Mom to get the kids involved with this fun, cute, and easy Easter dessert for kids: Easter Egg Hunt Pudding Cups

With the weather finally warming up in Minnesota, I’ve got spring on the brain. Easter will be here before we know it! To celebrate my 2nd favorite holiday (next to Christmas of course) I came up with this fun and festive, super easy to make dessert. It requires just a few ingredients and a pudding cup. They are so easy that Bean was able to make her very own (with a little help from Mom). She was so proud of herself.

SUPPLIES
  • 6 count chocolate and/or vanilla SUPER snack pack (they both taste great!)
  • green sprinkles
  • Chocolate honey maid grahams
  • any sort of candy-coated chocolate eggs

STEP ONE
If you’re involving your kiddos, don’t bother cleaning the kitchen. There will be crumbs everywhere, Happy messes 🙂 First, I let Bean help me crush up the chocolate graham crackers for the “dirt”. You can’t have grass if there isn’t dirt, right?

STEP TWO
Open up the pudding cups (they’ve got brand new easy open lids!) and spoon a layer of chocolate graham cracker “dirt” into the cup. You can go as thick as you’d like.

STEP THREE
Spoon a layer of green sprinkles “grass”. Because this layer is pretty much just pure sugar, I helped guide Bean so that her cup didn’t end up with a huge mound of sugar on top.

STEP FOUR
Sprinkle the egg shaped candies on top! Your Easter Egg Hunt Pudding Cups are now ready to enjoy (unless you’re like my husband and need your pudding to be “chilled”)

Bean dove right into hers, but I would recommend giving it a little stir before you eat. Her first few spoonfuls were pretty much all sugar, graham cracker, and candy. Although I think she didn’t mind one bit 😉

I love how quick I could turn these Snack Packs into an extra special treat.
