This time of year is the BEST. Everyone is all jolly, there are pretty twinkling lights everywhere, and there are lots of fun holiday parties to attend. 

I picked up some new makeup this weekend and started playing around with a fun new look that I could do for my next Christmas gathering.

After experimenting with my new makeup, I am in love with this shadow palette! This NEUTROGENA Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-In Primer in Soft Taupe doesn’t crease and the color lasts up to 12 hours. 

Here’s how you can recreate this Merry & Bright makeup look perfect for your next holiday party…

Step One

I started with my foundation, concealer, bronzer, blush, and brow definer already applied. I usually do my eyes very last. For this first step, apply the lightest shadow color to the brow bone and inner corner of the lid.

Step Two

Apply the next lightest shadow color to the entire lid, minus where you already applied the lightest shade.

Step Three

Apply the 2nd darkest shadow to the crease and outer half of your lid. I usually stay away from applying it too far towards the inner corner of the crease.

Step Four

Apply the darkest shade of shadow to the outer half of the crease and outer half of your eyelid. I like to apply it very concentrated towards the outer corner. Also apply a thin line to the lower lashline.

Step Five

After I applied my signature cat eye liner, I then applied the NEUTROGENA Healthy Volume Mascara. It’s got Olive, Meadowfoam Seed and Sweet Almond Oils that penetrate lashes on all dimensions for up to 400% thicker lashes!

Step Six

Next I applied NEUTROGENA MoistureSmooth Color Sticks in Plum Raisin to my lips. I am in LOVE with how smooth and moisturizing this stuff is.

My lips usually get super dry when I wear lipstick, but my lips loved this. It’s got Mango and Shea butter that continuously condition lips so they are softer and smoother in just 3 days even without anything on them.
