Before I knew it, over a year had passed since I last logged in.

Why gone so long? Well, not to go into too much detail and personal nitty gritty, the past year was pretty rough.

And then the year wrapped up with a real cherry on top. A moment that honestly traumatized me in a way I still don’t totally know how to talk about. The only way I can describe it is… PTSD-ish? My whole system flipped into survival mode. And sure, I probably should be in therapy, but in this economy? With a high-deductible insurance plan?! Please.

Oofta, didn’t mean to get so real. Sorry about that. This was supposed to be a lighthearted return to blogging. But hey, that’s what blogs originally started as. Literal online journals. Remember this post?

Even though I might not have been writing for the past year, I never stopped creating. Or thrifting. I even finished a 2nd gallery wall. Remember what my 1st one looked like? I’m pretty proud of how far I’ve come!

And I missed logging in far too much and figured it was time to dust off the ol’ keyboard, clean out my disaster of an office, and say hi again. I even made a tiktok about it! That’s right, this old gal is revivin’ her Tiktok!

@brepeablog I finally stopped waiting for perfect and just started. This room (and my whole creative life) needed a RESET. 🧹✨ #resetwithme #cleanwithme #cleaningmotivation #declutterwithme ♬ Vaporwave Dreams (Lofi) – ProdbySkyJackson

So here we are. I’m not promising perfection because goodness gracious I didn’t realize how rusty I was. But I am promising plenty of crafty, thrifty adventures. Here’s a little sneak peak of my latest creation that will be appearing on the blog and tiktok soon…

Thanks for still being here. Whether you’ve been reading since the early days (cough cough Peacoats & Plaid) or you’re brand new, I’m glad you’re here.

Here’s to making more things, finding more treasures, and blogging like the good ol’ days again!
