It’s no secret, I am vintage obsessed. Even more so, mid-century modern obsessed. I know, I know, so “unique”. But hey, I liked it WAY BEFORE it was trendy (hipster alert).
I’m also a big fan of reinventing things; using things in a way that they weren’t originally meant to be used. We are currently in the middle of house hunting, and the thought of decorating a brand new (to us) home gets me giddy with excitement! I can’t wait to put my modern yet vintage eclectic spin on the new house (which we are, as I’m typing this, in negotiations with-EEK!)
One type of home decor that tends to intimidate me but that I would love to tackle is creating DIY lighting. I decided to put my fears aside and created a guide over at eBay about how to take 5 types of mid-century modern treasures and turn them into statement lighting pieces that are sure to spark some conversation.
