There might only be one month left of summer, but I am intent on finishing summer 2015 with zero regrets! Us Minnesotans have to treasure these warm months because before we know it, the boat will be going back in storage and the snow will be flying (shudder).
Luckily, I don’t even have to leave our backyard to make the most of the rest of our summer. In fact, some of the most fun our family has together happens in the backyard. We bonfire, we play on the swing set, we pull out the redneck blow up pool and cool off, heck we even have fun giving Bean the hose and just letting her go wild.

Aren’t these photos neat? I captured them with my new Panasonic LUMIX G7 camera. It’s got this really cool 4K photo feature: I just held the shutter button down while Bean was spraying away and it recorded the 4K photo (they’ve got 2 other 4K photo modes as well). Then, I went back and extracted the perfect moments using the touch-enabled screen on the back of the camera and turned them into HD 8-megapixel photos. Seriously, Panasonic is taking action photography to a whole new level. Plus the camera has built in wifi so sharing the photos via social media was so easy! I could go on and on about my love for this camera, but I digress…
There’s something slightly terrifying about letting a crazy 3 year old loose with a hose in her hands. My husband experienced this terror firsthand, brave guy. The joy on her face is worth getting pelted with a little water 😉

Besides plenty more water activities (my love for water has been passed down to my water bug of a child), there are a few other things I’ve still got left to cross out on my summer bucket list. I decided to write them down, better late than never.
I made my own summer bucket list out of some supplies I had at home. I put my still-want-to-do’s plus a few we’d already done this summer on the list, because as a list maker it feels so awesome to check things off, right?

If you want to make own just like it for any season or reason, you’ll need:
- scrapbook paper for background
- glitter washi tape
- glitter foam letters
- white cardstock
- black pen
- colored pencils (for added color)
- double sided tape

I highly recommend you check out the Panasonic LUMIX G7 camera to document all of your bucket list activities so you never miss that perfect shot. Like this one of Bean wildly running at me with a giant stick…
