The return of spring takes on a whole new meaning when you’ve got a highly energetic little girl in the house that has been cooped up all winter. There’s nothing better than being able to throw on some sandals and walk right out the front door to play without having to pile on snow pants, boots, a huge puffy jacket, you get the picture. Spring is about the return of adventures at the park, Spring Break, and adorable Easter outfits!
I had the opportunity to treat Bean to a little shopping spree at OshKosh the other weekend. I told her that she got to pick things out all by herself and she was so excited! Although, as you can imagine, I had to give her a little guidance in assembling an ensemble (no, Bean, hot pink shorts and a green t-shirt don’t quite match). I was so excited to spruce up Bean’s wardrobe!
Bean picked out these adorable gladiator sandals all by herself. I was such a proud mamma.
This necklace/bracelet combo was the second thing she absolutely had to have. That, and these pink shorts.
Of course Cooper had to get in on the action. He was a very good modeling assistant. He puts up with a lot, that poor bear. I’m surprised his head is still attached, for now…
OshKosh evokes memories of my favorite childhood pair of overalls. When I walked in the front door, I was immediately impressed with all of the new, bright, and fun styles that they have for kids. You can tell that they design clothing with “kids have fun being kids” in mind. I knew she would be comfortable while she was running, jumping, swinging, and sliding.
I usually like the girls styles better than the baby and toddler styles in clothing stores, but I was pleased to see that they offered pretty much the same styles in both sections. I was also impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was, and yet not overbearing (that’s the worst.)
