This delicious homemade iced salted caramel mocha recipe is being presented to you because I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Folgers. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. #FolgersFridays
Before becoming a coffee aficionado, I used to scoff at the people who would willingly spend 5 bucks on a specialty coffee drink. Now, I am one of those people. I can’t help it, they’re just so yummy!
Although I still like to splurge from time to time, I have come up with some recipes to recreate my favorite coffee drinks at home. This is my most wondrous creation: my homemade iced salted caramel mocha.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 squeezes (1 t) Folgers® Iced CaféTM Original Latte (more if you want it stronger)
- 1 cup skim milk (or your milk of preference)
- 2 t caramel + extra to drizzle on top
- 2 T hot cocoa mix
- 1 t sugar
- 1/8 t sea salt
- ice
- optional: whipped cream
Combine the Folgers® Iced CaféTM, milk, caramel, cocoa mix, sugar, and salt. I used my trusty immersion blender to froth it up a bit. You could use a whisk and hand mix as well.
Pour your salted caramel mocha over ice and top with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Enjoy 🙂
Folgers® Iced CaféTM comes in 4 delicious flavors: Original Latte, Hazelnut Latte, Vanilla Latte, and Caramel Machiatto. They’re made with 100% coffee extract and have just 5 ingredients with no sugar or preservatives. These babies have accompanied me to the cabin every weekend, they’re so convenient! It’s not like you can just order a premium coffee drink to go when you’re up north in the middle of nowhere, ya know? No problem for me, I just make my own 🙂
What’s your favorite premium coffee drink? I would love to hear some suggestions for more homemade coffee recipes in the comment section below!
